Jamie is by genetics part of the Body Glove family. Jamie is the grandson of Body Glove founder Bob Meistrell, and the Meistrell family still runs the show. Jamie and his brothers and cousins pretty much dominate the Redondo Breakwall with a core group of friends. Jamie also gives back by teaching surfing for Los Angeles based Campsurf.
