Hardest Working Man in Surf Business
It's pretty hard to flip through just about any surf magazine these days and not see a photo of Mike launching a huge air against a unique backdrop or laying into one of his patented power gouges. These photos do not just happen by accident. Mike makes them happen not just with his ridiculous surfing ability but with his willingness to try new things and go just about anywhere for that unique photo. Mike lives in SoCal but spends much of the year traveling with other surfers, photographers and movie makers. In a typical year you are just as likely to see Mike surfing an obscure little reef in Laguna Beach as you are to see him in Indonesia, Hawaii, Japan, New Zealand or even Egypt. Mike and the Body Glove Crew in France
Mike is in the midst of the brutal European leg of the WQS Surf Tour right now. He just had his best result with a semi-final finish at the 6 Star Sooruz Lacanau Pro in Lacanau France. A couple more results like this will push Mike into contention to qualify for the WCT Tour. Keep up the good work Mike!!
