Bruce Irons Wins the Rip Curl Search 
Bruce Irons recently announced to the world that he is going to retire from the ASP Pro Tour to concentrate on being the best free surfer on the planet. On his way out the door he decided to show the world that he can still beat the best especially in heaving left hand barrels "somewhere" in Indonesia. Bruce beat his good friend Fred Patacchia in the final by finding the right waves and killing them with deep barrels and big backhand bashes. Bruce currently sits in 10th place on the WCT ratings. CONGRATS BRUCE! You finally got your much deserved first WCT win!
Happy 80th Birthday to Bob Meistrell
July 31th, 2008 marked the 80th birthday for Body Glove co-founder Bob Meistrell. And to celebrate his birthday all he wanted to do was surf and SCUBA dive a wreck off the California coast. Fitting for the watersports legend who, with the help of his twin brother Bill, created the first practical wetsuit and whose Los Angeles County Underwater Dive License is 0001. 3rd Annual D-Man Festival
For all of you folks living in Southern California you are invited to the Dive N Surf 3rd Annual D-Man Festival. The D-Man festival takes place on August 16th from 12pm to 6pm.
