We are in the midst of our newest wetsuit ad campaign titled Anysuit/Anywhere. In the next few months we will be rolling our print, online and video ads and clips featuring our epic surf team is their environments. We have matched up Dusty Payne, Luke Stedman, Alex Gray, Mike Losness, Nate Yeomans, Tyler Smith, Cheyne Magnusson and Austin Ware with their favorite wetsuit in an environment that matches their personality and surfing. Body Glove Drop Zone wins Film Festival Award
The Body Glove co produced film Drop Zone: Tahiti won one of the highest honors at the Charleston International Film Festival. The film took home The Golden Crescent Award for Best Documentary. The Body Glove Surf Team is cranking right now. Luke Stedman is in Australia and getting ready to attack the 2009 WCT Tour after the birth of his first child and after recovering from an injury. Alex Gray is getting ready for a big WQS event in the beautiful Maldives and also just got back from Peru shooting for a new movie. Nate Yeomans and Dusty Payne are sitting 9th and 10th on the WQS ratings and if the year stopped today would be hitting the WCT next year. Nate was recently launching huge airs in Newport with photographer Mike Balzer. Great black and white photos on the Blog. Dusty has been spending some time in Bali and from the clips we are seeing is trying to win whatever the next big air contest is around the corner. As always, Mike Losness is working hard and is showing up in magazines in ads for Body Glove and his other sponsors and plenty of editorial. He is currently on a boat trip in Indo with Red Bull and from the stories we are hearing about the swell- they are scoring. Mike just launched a great website at www.mikelosness.com that showcases his surfing and art. Cheyne Magnusson just got back from a quick Change of Pace trip to Japan. Holly Beck is down in her 2nd home in Nicaragua- surfing, building their house and buying cars. Greg Browning just spent the day with Shelby Kantar and Daniel Doud in Carlsbad. They constructed a pretty sweet little rail set up down in the lagoon to shoot some new clips. Shelby was also on hand for the Osiris Girls Ride Day sponsored by Body Glove on Tuesday in Mission Beach San Diego. There are some great photos on the Blog and Facebook pages. Rusty Malinoski is sitting at the top of the King of Wake race with 100 points, secured by his win at the Air Nautique Wake Games. The whole crew is gearing up for the first stop on the MasterCraft Pro Wakeboarding Tour with Stop #1 May 29 in Fort Worth, FL. Keep an eye on Rusty and Harley Clifford making a run for the Pro Men's titles and Bob Soven going after the Junior Men's. |
