Alex Gray Scores Surfer Magazine Cover
Alex Gray scored the cover of the upcoming March 2009 issue of Surfer Magazine. The epic shot is from a unique angle of Hawaii's Backdoor Pipeline. We think it is one of the most memorable covers in recent history. Check it our when it hits newsstands soon. Gabe Kling Joins the Body Glove Team
Body Glove International is stoked to announce Gabe Kling has signed on to the Body Glove Team. For 2009 Gabe will be rocking Body Glove wetsuits. "It’s really exciting to have Gabe as a part of the family," says Team Manager Greg Browning. "He is an incredible surfer with great style. We’re looking forward to his ride on the WCT in 2009." Gabe won his first title, ESA Jr Men’s Champ, back in 1997 and has worked hard everyday since then. Gabe is an awesome addition to the growing Body Glove team; he is going full force on the World Tour this year with Body Glove’s full support. Welcome to the team and the family Gabe! Surf Team News
The Body Glove Surf Team has been on it lately. Along with the addition of Gabe Kling to the team we also recently added local Southern California Nate Yeomans to the team. Check back on the site soon for more images and info on Gabe and Nate. Luke Stedman is in Australia and getting ready to attack the 2009 WCT Tour. Alex Gray has been scoring covers and huge layouts in all of the major magazines and is getting ready for some WQS events. Cheyne Magnusson and Dusty Payne just got back from a trip to Tavarua and scored some surf and some great dives. The entire Southern California Surf Team has been experiencing being a past of the Body Glove Family. The crew consisting of Alex Gray, Cheyne Magnusson, Mike Losness, Austin Ware, Nate Yeomans, Chad Jackson, Holly Beck, Matt Pagan and Tyler Smith all surfed a fun sand bar in front of the office this week with a strong local crew including the Brewer Twins and Chris Frohoff. Mike Losness and Austin Ware recently became SCUBA certified and have been diving with Body Glove crew off of The Disappearance. With the launch of the Eco wetsuit, Body Glove made a commitment to try to build eco products into every main product category. We recently introduced the Eco 2 wetsuit with Eco gloves, Eco Booties and Eco surf shirts and a bamboo rashguards. To keep up this momentum and to branch out and do more, we are very excited to announce the launch of Body Glove Water Filtration Systems.
