Keenan Flegel Wins World Wake Surf Championship and Video of the Year

Body Glove International would like to congratulate their team rider, Keenan Flegel, on winning his second World Title at the World Wakesurf Championships presented by Centurion Boats on Lake Las Vegas on Sepetmber 27-28, 2013.

This 18-year old from Lighthouse Point, Florida won the Surf Style division, which is a category based on your board construction. Keenan walked away with a cool $12,000 and also won the Wakesurfing Video Of The Year.

Centurion Boats delivered a prize purse of $100,000 for this event, which shows how much the activity of wakesurfing has grown in recent years. Keenan was psyched to be able to make it happen again in 2013 when the pressure was on.

“It felt great to finally show everything I can do in a competition environment,” Keenan said. “The riders are all progressing faster than ever and the industry is exploding right now. It’s an exciting moment for wakesurfing and this event was really fun to be a part of.”

Keenan rides behind his Centurion Enzo 244 back home in Florida and he just ordered a new, 2014 FX 44 and is anxiously awaiting its arrival.
