Jetsetter’s Diary: Bob Soven

“In early February, I left for a two-day trip to Puerto Rico with the Sanuk surf team for a catalog shoot and to create some web content. From there, I headed to Keystone Colorado for the Zumiez 100k event, which includes almost every figurehead from the action sports industry and the top 1000 sales floor employees from all the Zumiez stores across the country. Then I went straight back onto the jet and headed to Australia to film and compete in the Australian cable comps. We went straight off the plane to the first cable contest in Penrith where I ended up making the podium in all of the events. In between the contests, we tried to film as much as possible for the new Liquid Force movie. We ended our trip at Bonnie Doon, with 3 days of shooting and a demo in front of at least 1,000 local wakeboard fans. As this trip wraps up, my next one begins as I head to Hawaii to meet up with the Body Glove team for a couple days of surfing and hanging in Oahu.”
